Summer School 2019 Musical Week
Day 1: Rainbow Tambourine (Toddler&K1)In our 3rd week of the summer course, we are going to talk about music. For today’s special activity toddlers made a rainbow paper plate tambourine. At the beginning of the class our teacher played us the “Music Song”, then she told us the materials that we were going to use such as, paper plates, paint, ribbon, gold jingle bells, and beans. We started painting our paper plate with many colors, then we folded the plate in half, and we put beans inside. Our rainbow tambourine was beautiful.3週目のサマースクールはミュージックウィークです。スペシャルアクティビティでは虹色タンバリンを紙のお皿を使って作りました。まずは材料の名前（紙皿、絵の具、リボン、鈴、ビーズ）を確認しました。準備ができたら活動開始です。まずは紙皿にカラフル塗ったあとにお皿を半分に折ってビーズを中に入れました。虹色タンバリンは振るといい音が鳴ります。とってもきれいに出来ました。En nuestra tercera semana de cursos de verano estaremos hablando de música. Para la actividad especial de hoy, los niños pequeños hicieron un pandero de arcoíris con platos de papel. Al principio de la clase nuestra maestra nos puso “Music Song”, después nos dijo los materiales que utilizaríamos tales como: platos de papel, pintura, listón, campanas doradas y frijol. Comenzamos pintando nuestro plato como arcoíris, luego doblamos el plato por la mitad y pusimos frijoles dentro. Nuestro pandero de arcoíris quedo hermoso.

Day 1: Hand drum, Den Den Daiko (K2&K3) Today was our first day of the week in K2 and K3, our teacher taught us types of music we can dance and sing. And then she gave us a sheet with the written words "MUSICAL WEEK". We painted it with the colors we wanted to use. Then we started making our mini drum which is made of a basket, balloons, beads, and ribbon. We really liked doing that. After we finished it, we played together with it. we made a louder sound when we all did it at the same time. We loved it.
今日からミュージックウィークが始まりました。先生は歌ったり踊ったりできる曲について教えてくれました。みんなで楽しく歌ったあと、「ミュージックウィーク」と書いてある塗り絵を好きな色で塗りました。
今日のスペシャルアクティビティはでんでん太鼓作りです。まずは缶に風船を貼ります。そこに先にビーズを付けた紐をくっつけます。皆作るのがとっても楽しかったです。作り終わった後は一緒に太鼓をたたきました。全員で音を鳴らしたときはとても大きな音が鳴ってうれしくなりました。
Hoy en nuestro primer día de la semana de música en K2 y K3 nuestra maestra nos enseñó los tipos de música que podemos bailar, y después nos dio una hoja con las letras "SEMANA MUSICAL" para que la coloreáramos con los colores que quisiéramos.
Después empezamos hacer nuestro mini tambor, con el cual utilizamos una canasta, globos, cuentas y listón. Nos gustó mucho realizarlo y aún más cuando ya lo teníamos terminado y pudimos jugar todos juntos con él. La música sonaba más fuerte cuando todos los hacíamos al mismo tiempo. Nos encantó.
Day 1: Horn craft (Elementary Schooler) We started Music Week today. In class, we learned how to use the verbs such as play, hear and listen. We played then to put together sentences with the verbs. We also learned words related to music, like a concert, notes, and instrument and looked for them in a word search! In the afternoon our teacher showed us a video on how to make a paper horn. We used paper, scissors and colorful tapes. It seemed easy but it wasn't as easy as we thought. At the end we made small whistles sounds when we finished. We had fun!
ミュージックウィークが始まりました。初めにクラスではplay, hear, listenといった動詞の使い方を習いました。今度はペアになって単語カード並べ替えるゲームをしました。先生に習った動詞の使い方を思い出して上手に文を作ることができました。１番のペアには賞品があったのでみんなよく集中していました。他にもコンサートや音符、楽器について調べて関係する言葉を習い、ワードサーチで復習しました。
今日のスペシャルアクティビティはホルン作りです。まずは、先生が紙のホルンの作り方のビデオを見せてくれました。紙とハサミとカラフルなテープを使いました。初めは簡単そうに見えたけど思っていたよりも難しかったです。最後に小さい笛も作りました。とても楽しかったです。
Hoy comenzamos la semana de música y en clase aprendimos sobre el verbo tocar, escuchar y oír. Después jugamos a armar oraciones con esos verbos. ¡También aprendimos varias palabras relacionadas con música y las buscamos en una sopa de letras! En la tarde nuestra maestra nos mostró un video sobre como hacer un cuerno de papel. Usamos papel, tijeras y cinta de colores. Parecía fácil, pero no fue tan sencillo como pensamos. Al final pudimos hacer pequeños sonidos de silbato al terminar. ¡Nos divertimos!
Day 2: Mini guitar 🎸 (Toddler&K1)
Today in our second day of music week, our teacher taught us some names of instruments, also she played us a video about it. Our teacher told us the names of the materials: paper plates, cardboard, paint and rubber bands for today’s special activity. Toddlers made a mini guitar. We choose the color of the paint for the guitar, we started painting the plate and the cardboard. We are still waiting for our mini guitar to get dry and then we can play with it. Still, it is beautiful!
今日は音楽ウィークの2日目でした。先生と一緒に楽器の名前についてビデオを見ながら勉強しました。その後紙皿・段ボール・絵の具・ゴムなど、今日使った材料の名前を先生が教えてくれました。今日の工作は、ミニギターを作りました。好きな色を選んで、紙皿と段ボールを塗りました。今日は絵の具が乾かなくて遊べませんでした。明日が楽しみです。
Hoy en nuestro segundo día de la semana de música, nuestra maestra nos enseñó nombres de instrumentos, también nos puso un video acerca de ello. También nos enseñó el nombre de los materiales: platos de papel, cartón, pintura y banda elástica para la actividad especial de hoy. Los niños pequeños hicieron una mini guitarra. Nosotros elegimos el color de la pintura para nuestra guitarra, comenzamos pintando el plato y el cartón. Seguimos esperando que nuestra mini guitarra se seque para jugar con ella. ¡Está hermosa!
Day 2: Rainbow Tambourine (K2&K3)
Today in our summer course with K2 and K3 for our musical week, the teacher taught us how to make a rainbow tambourine, in which we use paintings of different colors, a plate, bells and ribbon. First, we painted the plate like a rainbow with yellow, pink, green, red and orange color, and then while we waited for it to dry, the teacher gave us a drawing to color. When our rainbow tambourine was dry, we folded it in half and placed the bells and then played with it making many sounds. We had a lot of fun in this activity
今日、大きいクラスでは、絵の具・紙皿・鈴・リボンを使った、虹色のタンバリンの作り方を教わりました。まず初めに黄色・ピンク・緑・赤・オレンジなど様々な色を使って、紙皿を虹模様に塗りました。乾くのを待っている間は塗り絵をしました。乾いたら、紙皿を半分に折って鈴を付けました。最後にできあがったタンバリンを使って遊びました。とても楽しくできました。
Hoy en nuestro curso de verano con K2 y K3 para nuestra semana musical, la maestra nos enseñó como hacer un pandero arcoíris, en el cual utilizamos pinturas de diferentes colores, un plato de papel, cascabeles y listón. Primero pintamos el plato como arcoíris: con color amarillo, rosa, verde, rojo y naranja, después mientras esperábamos a que se secara, la maestra nos dio un dibujo para colorear. Cuando nuestro pandero estaba seco, lo doblamos a la mitad y le colocamos los cascabeles para después jugar con él haciendo muchos sonidos. Nos divertimos mucho con esta actividad.
Day 2: Sing, Sing, Sing (Elementary Schooler) Today in the morning we learned the difference between country and nationality. Our teacher showed us a list of many countries and their nationalities and then we had to answer a worksheet. It took us a long time, but we did it! We learned the names of different musical instruments and our teacher made us guess the sound of the instruments. We got a lot correct! In the afternoon we made a tambourine out of cardboard, yarn and jingle bells. First, we covered the cardboard with yarn, then knotted the jingle bells. At the end we played a song all together.
今日の午前中は、英語における国名と国籍の違いについて勉強しました。先生が国名と国籍のプリントを配布し、みんなで解いていきました。時間がかかりましたが、みんな頑張っていました。その後、様々な楽器の名前について勉強し、どんな音がするのかみんなで考えました。午後は段ボール・糸・鈴を使って、タンバリンを作りました。まず段ボールに糸を巻き、鈴を結びつけました。最後にみんなで歌を歌いました。
Hoy, por la mañana, aprendimos la diferencia entre país y nacionalidad. Nuestra maestra nos mostró una lista de muchos países y su nacionalidad. Después tuvimos que resolver una actividad. ¡Nos tomó mucho tiempo, pero lo logramos! Aprendimos también los nombres de diferentes instrumentos musicales y nuestra maestra nos hizo adivinar los sonidos de los instrumentos. ¡Adivinamos muchos! En la tarde, hicimos un pandero con cartón, estambre y cascabeles. Primero cubrimos el cartón con estambre, luego anudamos los cascabeles. Al final tocamos una canción juntos.
Day 3: Rainstick (Toddler&K1) Today in our summer course, our teacher taught us how to make a rain stick used the recycled materials. First, she played a video of how the sound of the rainstick is and how people use it fi us. Then she told us how we call the material we were going to use. In today special activity we made a rain stick. We started pasting to our cardboard roll to a piece of origami paper of different colors and shapes. Then we put beans inside the rolls that we decorated. It was beautiful.
今日のサマースクールの今日のスペシャルアクティビティでは小さいクラスでは先生が一度使ったものを使ってどうやってレインスティックをつくるのかを教えてくれました。初めに先生はレインスティックの音がどんな音なのかと皆がどうやって使うのかを教えてくれました。そしてそのあと材料の名前を教えてもらいました。そのあとに段ボールに違う色や形の折り紙を貼りました。そして中にビーズを入れて完成です。とても素晴らしいものを作ることが出来ました。
Hoy en nuestro curso de verano, nuestra maestra nos enseño como hacer palo de lluvia utilizando material reciclable, primero nos puso un video de como es el sonido de un palo de lluvia y como las personas lo utilizan. Después nos dijo los nombres de los materiales que estaríamos utilizando. Para la actividad de hoy, los niños pequeños hicieron un palo de lluvia reciclable. Comenzamos pegando a nuestro rollo de cartón pedazos de origami de diferentes colores y figuras. Después pusimos frijoles dentro del rollo que decoramos. ¡Quedo hermoso!
Day 3: A Jazzy Lesson (K2&k3)
Today is the third day of our music week. In K2 and K3, we did a lot of things. First, we painted a sheet with the colors we wanted to use. while we waited for the picture which we painted to dry, our teacher gave us a sheet with a trumpet on it. And we glued it with glitter of different colors. we did everything by ourselves. In the end, we pasted it on the sheet that we painted at first and it looked very nice. We loved this activity!
今日はミュージックウィーク三日目でした。大きいクラスでは初めに好きな色で塗りをしました。そしてそれが乾くのを待ちながら、トランペットの絵を先生がくれたのでたくさんの色のラメを付けて楽しみました。今回は先生の手を全く借りることなく全部一人でできました。最後にそれを始めに書いた絵に貼りました。とても素晴らしいものが出来て皆とても満足しました。
Hoy en nuestro tercer día de nuestra semana musical, en K2 y K3 nos divertimos mucho, primero pintamos una hoja con los colores que quisiéramos y mientras esperamos que se secará la maestra nos dio una hoja con una trompeta en la cual pegamos diamantina de diferentes colores, todo lo hicimos nosotros solos. Al final lo pegamos en nuestra hoja que pintamos primero y quedo muy padre. ¡Nos encantó esta actividad!
Day 3: Colorful Water Xylophone (Elementary Schoolers)
Today we started by helping fix the playmat. Then, we learned how to intruduce ourselves in english, from our name to our hobbies, and so we did a worksheet about it. It was hard but we managed to do it! After that our teacher showed us a video of different music genres! We danced to the sound of some of them. In the afternoon we experimented with water tension and different materials like ink, oil, paint and baby oil. We made 4 different experiments. In the last one, though, we created a water Xylophone with crystal bottles and water. We played music with it!
朝の英語の時間には自己紹介の仕方を習いました。「私の名前は〇〇です。○才です。〇〇から来ました。兄弟は○人います。好きな色は〇〇です。好きな食べ物は〇〇です。好きなことは〇〇です」と英語で言えるようになりました。言えるようになったらワークシートに書いて練習しました。 次に、音楽のジャンルについて習いました。色々なジャンルの名前について教えてもらい、それがどんな音楽なのか実際に聞いてみました。 午後には、水を使った４つの実験をしました。まずは水と２種類の油を使った実験です。水と油を混ぜてシャカシャカ振ります。しばらく待つと水と油がきれいに分かれ、子どもたちの中から歓声が上がりました。「Teacher, shake!」と何回も混ぜてはきれいに分かれるのを目を輝かせて見ていました。油をインクに変えても同じ結果でした。最後にはグラスに水と絵の具を入れてカラフルな木琴を作りました。水の量を調整して音がきれいに揃うようにしました。学校で習っている曲を木琴で奏でていました。 「明日は何をするのかな？」と笑顔で下校しました。また明日！
Hoy empezamos ayudando a arreglar el tapete de juegos. Luego, aprendimos como presentarnos en inglés, desde nuestro nombre hasta nuestros hobbies, e hicimos una actividad sobre eso. ¡Fue difícil, pero logramos hacerla! Después de eso, nuestra maestra nos mostró un video con diferentes géneros musicales. ¡Bailamos al ritmo de algunos! En la tarde experimentamos con la tensión del agua y diferentes materiales como la tinta, pintura, aceite y aceite de bebé. Hicimos 4 experimentos distintos. En el último, sin embargo, creamos un Xilófono con botellas de cristal y agua, ¡Tocamos música con él!
Day 4: Mini drum 🥁(toddler&K1) We started the English class by watching a video about drums sounds. Then our teacher taught us some materials names that we were going to use for today's special activity such as cans, paint, balloons and straws. Then we sang and danced “When the band comes marching in”. We loved it! For special activity, toddlers made a mini drum. First, we started painting our can green; we all wanted that color. Then we put the balloon on the top of the can. We liked our mini drum. It was beautiful! 今日のスペシャルアクティビティはドンドン！ミニドラムづくりです。まずはドラムの音を先生に聞かせてもらい、みんなで「マーチングバンドが来たら」という歌を歌って踊りました。次に、ミニドラムづくりの材料を教えてもらいました。いよいよミニドラムづくりです。 まずは、缶を緑色に塗ります。先生はたくさんの色を用意していましたが、みんな今日は緑色に塗りたかったようです。絵の具が乾いたら、缶の上に風船を貼り付けます。棒で叩くと、ドンドントントンといい音が鳴りました。 Hoy en nuestro día de curso de verano, comenzamos viendo un video acerca de sonidos de tambores. Después nuestra maestra nos enseñó nombres de los materiales que utilizamos hoy para la actividad especial, tales como: latas, pintura, globos y popotes. Después en clase cantamos y bailamos “When the band comes marching in”, ¡Nos encantó! Para la actividad especial de hoy los niños pequeños hicieron un mini tambor. Primero comenzamos pintando nuestra lata de verde; todos elegimos ese color. Después pusimos el globo en la parte superior de la lata. Nos gustó nuestro mini tambor. ¡Quedó hermoso!
Day 4: Dance Dance Dance 💃 (K2&K3) Today in our summer course with K2 and K3 the teacher gave us a sheet with a drawing of a dancing cartoon, and we were able to paste different cuts with our favorite colors. We liked it a lot. Then we all started dancing, and we had fun singing and dancing. Our favorite song was the "head, shoulders, knees and toes". We also danced and sang "if you are happy" and "baby shark". We got tired but we laughed and had a lot of fun. 今日大きいクラスでは、まず踊っているキャラクターの描いてある紙を先生からもらいました。その紙に小さく切った色紙を貼り付けていきました。その後みんなで歌いながらダンスをしました。「あたま・かた・ひざ・つまさき」の歌が一番お気に入りのようでした。「幸せなら手をたたこう」や「ベイビーシャーク」でも歌ったり踊ったりしました。終わった後は疲れた様子でしたが、みんな楽しんでいました。 Hoy en nuestro curso de verano con K2 y K3 la maestra nos dio una hoja con un dibujo de una caricatura bailando, y pudimos pegar diferentes recortes con nuestros colores favoritos, nos gustó mucho como quedo. Después nos pusimos a bailar todos, nos divertimos cantando y bailando. Nuestra canción favorita fue la de "cabeza, hombros, rodilla y dedos" también bailamos la de "Si estás feliz" y la de "Bebé tiburón" de tanto bailar y cantar nos cansamos, ¡pero nos reímos y divertimos mucho!
Day 4: Tap (Elementary schoolers)
Today was the fourth day of Music Week. In English class, we reviewed the sound of the letters and the numbers. Then we learned about the verb to be. We first learned about the affirmative verb to be, and then about the negative. We made a worksheet about both topics. When we finished, we played musical chairs. We had a lot of fun! After lunch, our teacher taught us 2 Tap dance steps. We first learned a step with our feet. We had to do it faster every time. When we could do it with music, we learned the second step, with our arms and legs. We did it great! 今日は音楽ウィークの4日目でした。英語の授業では、アルファベットと数字の発音を復習しました。そのあとbe動詞の肯定文と否定文について、プリントを使いながら勉強しました。それが終わると、椅子取りゲームをして遊びました。午後には2種類のダンスをしました。最初のダンスは、足を使って踊りました。だんだんテンポが速くなっていき、とても大変でした。音楽に合わせて踊れるようになったら、もう1つのダンスをしました。2つ目は足と手を使うダンスでした。みんな上手にできました。 Hoy fue nuestro cuarto día de la semana de música. En clase de inglés repasamos el sonido de las letras y los números. Luego aprendimos sobre el verbo ser. Primero aprendimos la forma afirmativa del verbo y luego la forma negativa. Hicimos una actividad sobre ambos temas. Al terminar jugamos a las sillas musicales. ¡Nos divertimos mucho! Después del lunch nuestra maestra nos enseñó 2 pasos de Tap. Primero aprendimos un paso con nuestros pies. Lo teníamos que hacer cada vez más rápido. Cuando lo pudimos hacer con música, aprendimos el segundo paso, el cuál era con nuestros brazos y piernas. ¡Lo hicimos muy bien!
Day 5: Maracas (toddler&K1)
Today in our summer course we reviewed the names of the instruments. We saw a video about the sounds of each instrument, and then we danced “jump song”. We had fun! For today’s special activity we made maracas. Our teacher told us the names of the materials we were going to use, bottles, paint, and beans. We started putting beans inside our bottle, then we painted our bottle. We choose the color we liked. We had fun with our maracas!
今日はまず初めに、ビデオを見ながら、楽器の名前や音を確認し、その後、“ジャンプの歌”にあわせて踊りました。みんな楽しそうに踊っていました。 また、今日はマラカスを作りました。まずペットボトルや絵の具、マラカスの中に入れる豆などの材料の名前を確認し、その後ペットボトルの中に豆を入れて、外側を好きな絵の具で塗りました。最後にマラカスで楽しく遊びました。
Hoy en nuestro curso de verano, repasamos nombres de instrumentos. Vimos un video de los sonidos de cada uno, después bailamos “jump song” !Nos divertimos! Para la actividad especial de hoy hicimos maracas. Nuestra maestra nos dijo el nombre de los materiales que íbamos a utilizar: botella, pintura y frijoles. Comenzamos poniendo frijoles dentro de nuestra botella, después la pintamos con el color que a nosotros nos gustaba. ¡Nos divertimos con nuestras maracas!
Day 5: African Rainmaker (K2&K3) Today for K2 and K3 was the last day of our musical week. At the beginning of the class, the teacher reminded us a bit of everything we saw this week, such as the types of sounds, music, and dance. Then in an empty bottle, we put beans so that it was like a rattle. When we finished filling it, we painted it in different colors. As always, we had a lot of fun painting. We had to wait for it to dry, so we could play, we danced and sang for a bit like yesterday. It was really fun!
今日は音楽ウィークの最終日でした。大きいクラスではまず、音楽やダンスなど今週勉強したことを復習しました。その後、空っぽの缶に豆を入れて、がらがらと音を鳴らすおもちゃを作りました。豆で中をいっぱいにした後に、好きな絵の具を使って、缶の外側を塗りました。乾くのを待ってから、できあがったおもちゃを使って、昨日と同じように、踊ったり歌ったりしました。みんなとても楽しそうでした。
Hoy para K2 y K3 fue nuestro ultimo día de nuestra semana musical. Al empezar la clase la maestra nos recordó un poco de todo lo que vimos en esta semana, como los tipos de sonidos, música y baila. Después en una botella vacía pusimos frijoles para que fuera como una sonaja. Cuando terminamos de llenarla la pintamos de diferentes colores. Como siempre nos divertimos mucho pintando. Mientras esperábamos a que se secara y pudimos jugar, bailamos y cantamos un poco como el día de ayer. ¡Fue realmente divertido!
Day 5: ”Ramune” Candy (Elementary schooler) Today in our last day of Music Week we started by learning the plural of English nouns. We learned to say how many things are of something. Our teacher showed us that there is a different type of plurals: regulars and irregulars. To memorize the difference, we played a memory game where we had to match an image with a plural or singular form, such as a cat or 2 cats. In the afternoon we did Ramune candy. The process was easy. We used cornstarch, confectioner’s sugar, baking soda, and lemon juice. Making the candy was harder because when we tried to make balls, the heat of our hand would make the balls get soft. Nonetheless, it was yummy!
今日は音楽ウィークの最終日でした。まず英語の複数形について勉強しました。いくつか例を挙げながら、「～が○個ある」と言う時の表現について学びました。また複数形には、規則形と不規則形があることも勉強しました。その違いを覚えるために、「1匹のネコ」と「2匹のネコ」の組み合わせのように、同じ絵をそろえるゲームをしました。午後にはラムネキャンディーを作りました。作り方は簡単で、コンスターチ、粉砂糖、重曹、レモン果汁を使いました。しかし、丸めようとすると、体温で柔らかくなってしまいました。とても大変でしたが、おいしかったです。
Hoy en nuestro último día de la semana de música, empezamos por aprender los plurales de los sustantivos en inglés. Aprendimos a decir cuantas cosas hay de algo. Nuestra maestra nos mostró que hay diferentes tipos de plurales: regulares e irregulares. Para memorizar la diferencia, jugamos un juego de memoria dónde teníamos que encontrar una imagen y su nombre en singular o plural, como: un gato o gatos. En la tarde hicimos dulces Ramune. El proceso fue fácil. Usamos Maizena, azúcar glass, bicarbonato y jugo de limón. Hacer los dulces fue más difícil, por qué cuando intentábamos hacer pelotitas el calor de nuestras manos las derretía. ¡Aún así, estuvo delicioso!
